Drama With False Eyelashes - Fake Eyelashes Can Deliver Dazzle

"It seems fitting that the creation of false eyelashes is credited to movie director
D.W. Griffith. According to de-beauty.com, Griffith wanted to give actress Seena
Owen a more dramatic appearance for the filming of "Intolerance," so he came up
with makeshift fake eyelashes. Although Hollywood picked up the use of false eyelashes,
the creation didn't necessarily catch on in the regular beauty routine of women until the
1960s."
